Before, homes in the 50s and 60s, lighting fixtures were installed in the middle of the ceiling with a switch near the entrance room. This kind of lighting was reliable for cleaning and traditional use that didn’t require so much light. Direct-above lighting was not efficient for other uses like reading and writing, and for that table lamps were used back then. Eventually, center lighting was not so useful other than the dining area and kitchen and became outdated in other rooms like the bedroom and other similar spaces. Now, we can control light just by stepping in a room without touching a switch. Kap-stohn electric has the ability to install an upgrade modern light.
